Dr. Baihan Lin
Founder & Principal Advisor
Linear Reality Advisory is led by Dr. Baihan Lin, an AI scientist and technical advisor working across artificial intelligence, healthcare, speech/language technology, cognitive systems, and human-centered computing.
Dr. Lin is a university professor working in academic medical AI and computational psychiatry, with prior experience across Google X, IBM Research, Microsoft, Amazon, and other technology organizations. He received his PhD from Columbia University and has been affiliated with research and policy communities including Harvard’s Berkman Klein Center. He is the single-author of Privacy and Security for Large Language Models (O’Reilly, 2026) and Reinforcement Learning Methods in Speech and Language Technology (Springer, 2025). His work spans AI governance, LLM privacy and security, clinical NLP, speech and behavioral signal processing, reinforcement learning, human-AI interaction, XR/BCI, and technical due diligence for emerging AI systems.
